The Hangman`s Noose ,historically known as The Bridport Dagger as Bridport was once the biggest centre for rope and twine making .

This is a small model noose and is made from 6mm ( 1/4" ) diameter polyhemp which is a synthetic hemp rope and looks and feels like real hemp.

The actual knot is approx 25mm (1")wide & 15cm (6") long and the overall length is 1.5 metre (4ft ) with a spliced loop in the other end for fixing.

This is not a toy so must be kept away from children or vulnerable adults.

The knot is prone to jamming and once tightened is difficult to release.

Could be used as a light pull or toilet flush rope for those with a weird sense of humour
