BOAT ANCHOR RETRIEVAL SYSTEM / ANCHOR PULLING KIT
The anchor retrieval method is used for lifting anchors by means of an attached buoy ( not supplied ) to your anchor rope,.
Your anchor rope needs to be threaded through the ring before use and the line attached to the ring secured onboard.
How does the Anchor Ring work?
When ready to raise your anchor, simply clip the buoy (not supplied ) to the other end of the lifter rope using the spring clip provided and throw the buoy into the water
Motor forward at an angle around your anchor line to break your anchor free
Continue to motor forward towing the anchor & bouy until the anchor reaches the surface. The anchor chain will pull through the ring and counterbalance the anchor and hold it at the surface. Then pull in the anchor rope.
I have discovered over the years that it is better if the chain is spliced to the main anchor rope and not shackled as the shackle can sometimes get caught on the ring.

We provide
the lifting rope is  10mm r ( colour of rope may vary ) spliced at both ends and is 3m in length
the 3 inch diameter steel ring 8mm thick
and an 8mm nickel plated snap hook

 A1 buoy for up-to 13kg and A2 buoy for 13kg to 25kg.
