Save feed and aid your animal`s health by slow feeding
hay ,silage or haylage.
Heavy duty round bale slow feeder net .
Hole size is 2" (50mm) square which allows slow
but steady feeding - a great asset to your animal`s digestion !
DESIGNED TO TAKE UP TO A 6FT or 1.8.5m
DIAMETER ROUND BALE OR 5FT SQUARE BALE
( if using on a smaller bale it is recommended to gather in any slack netting and
place UNDERNEATH the bale before letting the animals feed to
avoid excess wear of the netting)
The nets can be used in a feeder or loose in a field if horses are not shod.
Also suitable for cattle, sheep, llamas, donkeys etc and can help control " silage eye"
in cattle as they can`t get their heads into the feed !!
Easy to fit and use with no extras needed.
If your horse wears a rug please ensure the buckles are not able to tangle in the net.
If using in a steel feeder please ensure there are no sharp edges which may
damage the net - cover ANY JAGGED METAL with gaffer or duct tape etc.
The net can even be washed should you decide your horses deserve it !
After loading a round bale the draw rope should be tied and stored back in the net .
The net can be used in a feeder or box ,on the ground (unshod horses ONLY)
or hung by the rope.
If using on the ground a pallet underneath the bale will help to keep the feed clean.
REMEMBER TO REMOVE THE BALER TWINE WHEN PUTTING
BALE INTO THE NET !!!
